Immerse yourself in the art of wheel throwing with our welcoming 8-week course, no experience necessary! Perfect for complete beginners or those returning to pottery after a break, this course is designed to build confidence and skill from the ground up.
Over the course, you’ll learn essential techniques like clay preparation, centring on the wheel, throwing a variety of shapes including a simple cylinder, bowl, plate and lidded vessel, turning and trimming, and adding handles. As you progress, we’ll introduce more advanced forms, letting you develop at your own pace with plenty of support and guidance.
Each piece you create will be fired and ready for you to collect about a month after the course end date, giving you lasting mementos of your pottery journey or as unique gifts made by your own hand.
Simply click on a date in the drop down menu on the right and book. If a date doesn’t appear, that session is fully booked, so please check other dates for open spots or get in touch with Gemma to find out when the next course is due to start. Courses are popular and so we'd recommend booking asap.
We’re excited to welcome you to the studio!
